Materials HandlerWork Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.Description:Position handles materials, transports parts, reads and interprets written instructions from production and shipping schedules. Employee stores and or picks material from exact locations and delivers it to production or shipping as well as performs inventory movement transactions in computer systems. Performs required safety inspections on forklift equipment and reports any mechanical or safety issues to management in a timely manner.Responsibilities:Sort, organize, and maintain packing and boxing inventoryOperate lift equipment (fork truck, order picker, reach truck)Read production schedule and deliver correct parts or raw material to production or shippingStage parts and finished products in correct storage area in warehouseKeep up with all material transactions in the computer systemLoad and unload trucksStage and organize bar for sawsCycle count bar, sleeves and tubePack sleeves in sleeve packing cellSort and organize production routersAssist production with prompt removal of scrapAssist in other areas where neededPerforms daily OSHA required lift truck inspectionReport mechanical or safety issues to management promptlyWork in a constant state of alertnessRegular and predictable attendanceWork cooperatively with co-workersQualifications:MACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, WORK AIDES:Lift truckComputerOverhead hoist or craneHours workedThis position is typically 10-hour shift with a forty-hour work week.
