Express Employment Professionals North Aurora is currently seeking an Entry-Level Material Handler for a family-owned millwork and woodworking company in Maple Park, IL.

No previous millwork experience is required!

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn the millwork industry from the ground up, develop hands-on manufacturing skills, and potentially grow into other areas of the company.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Entry-Level Material Handler, you will help keep production moving while learning about the materials and products used throughout the millwork operation.

Responsibilities may include:

• Moving, organizing, and staging lumber, wood materials, and finished products throughout the facility
• Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing materials
• Supplying production areas with the materials needed to complete jobs
• Safely handling custom and finished wood products
• Inspecting materials for visible damage or quality concerns
• Organizing materials and maintaining an efficient workspace
• Keeping work areas clean and safe
• Working alongside experienced team members
• Learning about different wood products and manufacturing processes
• Following company safety procedures and policies

The ideal candidate will:

• Be dependable and show up ready to work

• Enjoy hands-on, physical work
• Be interested in woodworking, manufacturing, construction, or skilled trades
• Be willing to learn and take direction
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Be comfortable working around lumber, sawdust, woodworking machinery, in a loud environment, and manufacturing equipment
• Have good attention to detail
• Work well as part of a team
• Follow safety procedures
