Material HandlerMaterial Handlers provide general labor support to production and pack on demand lines or other areas by assembling trays, lids, feed tapers, palletizing and configuring gift orders for expedited processing of customer orders.Essential Duties And Responsibilities:Build pallets according to storage specifications ensuring pallet pattern meets all requirements.Ensure quality assurance and vendor compliance specifications are met.Physically stack and unstack palletsSupport the shipping line with a constant flow of product or removalRead SKU numbers and sort product by size/SKU of box to prepare it for loadingPerform other duties and works in other departments as assignedAdhere to all SQF (Safe Quality Foods) guidelinesMaintain reasonable and reliable attendanceEducation And/Or Experience:Some high school education requiredAbility to communicate with employees at all levels (peers, leadership & employees).Basic reading (English) skills.Physical Demand And Work Effort:Able to perform repetitive tasks (walking, bending, twisting and use of hands, wrists and arms).Perform general housekeeping (breakdown boxes, remove trash, sweep etc.)Light assembly.Limited lifting.
