Warehouse Operations SpecialistPerforms physical and/or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Checks goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Responsible for cycle counting activities.

Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges. Must have forklift certification. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.

Reviews customer orders, examines, stocks and distributes merchandise, products and materials in inventory warehouses, distribution centers or manufacturing lines. Oversees domestic and non-domestic receiving and shipping responsibilities. Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves complex issues associated with material/warehouse operations.Responsibilities:Performs administrative and physical tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, staging and supplying materials (raw, work-in-process and finished goods), parts and supplies, to operators, workstations and distribution centerMay prepare goods for shipment to the distribution centerComplete all necessary SAP Training to obtain the necessary profilesMay be responsible for ordering required materials from outside vendors and offload all deliveries from outside vendors and do goods receipts for the deliveriesPhysically locate the materials in the warehouse and then perform transactions in SAP to locate them in the systemDo bin to bin transfers for all moves from the warehouse to the PSA'sHand load carts/racks equipment and deliver to production areasRun Material Staging in SAPEvaluate all production schedules and determine materials needed from outside vendorsMaintain required levels of materials in the various PSA'sIs knowledgeable of receiving and/or distribution functions, familiar with computer warehousing system and may be required to use UPS systemsMay be responsible for conducting cycle counts to maintain accurate inventoriesUses independent judgment in troubleshooting and problem solving under little/no supervisionProvides support to lead and/or supervisor when necessaryMay provide training support for on-boarding and/or new proceduresMay provide support on special projectsDemonstrates the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)Must follow all Client housekeeping policies and proceduresMust follow all Client safety policies and proceduresMust be able to work overtime as required to meet Client business requirementsPerform other duties as required.Requirements:High school with 4 years' experience with minimum 1 year SAP and forklift operations requiredPrevious work experience with the use of material handling equipment (pallet jacket, forklift, shrink wrapper)Valid driver's license requiredForklift Certification requiredCertification in Dangerous Goods (DG), including IATA, DOT DG, or IMDGExtensive knowledge of SAP requiredBasic Skills:Ability to work on assignments that are manual and routine in nature with the skill to recognize any deviations from specificationCan effectively work in a team setting and communicate effectively across the departmentMust be able to maintain neat, accurate and complete records and logs, both manually and/or electronically on a personal computerMust be able to effectively manage frequent assignment changesProficient/Working Skills:Must be proficient in English with the ability to read, write, analyze/evaluate charts, follow simple diagrams and perform basic arithmetic.Basic proficiency with PCs (Personal Computers) and basic use of Windows environment is required.Use independent judgment to plan, perform, make decisions, troubleshoot and problem solve.Must be able to work in a repetitive work environment and be able to stand for long periods of time.
