You'll also enjoy employee product discounts and opportunities for professional development.What You'll Do HereThe Material Handler is responsible for the efficient movement, storage, and organization of materials within our warehouse and production areas. This role plays a critical part in ensuring materials are accurately staged, tracked, and delivered to support manufacturing operations and maintain workflow efficiency.In this role, you will:Transfer materials to designated storage locations and ensure nothing is left on the floorPull, stage, and deliver components, raw goods, labels, cartons, and other materials for production runsReturn unused materials to stock and accurately record transactions in Process ProAssist in pulling and putting away raw materials while maintaining inventory accuracyInspect incoming materials, verify part numbers, and report discrepanciesKeep production lines supplied with necessary materials to ensure continuous workflowRemove finished goods from production lines, wrap pallets, and transfer to designated storage areasStage pallets and prepare finished goods for shipment, including transfers to the Waterbury facilityMaintain a clean, organized warehouse environment and assist with breaking down packaging materialsOperate forklifts and other material-handling equipment (training and certification provided)Communicate regularly with Line Leads and the Shipping Manager to support production and shipping goalsFollow all safety, quality, and compliance standards in daily operationsPerform additional duties as assignedAbout FoodScienceFounded in 1973, FoodScience maintains locations in Williston, Colchester, and Waterbury, Vermont.
