Material HandlerDWM Holdings is looking to fill a 2nd shift Material Handler position. This position is responsible for carrying out inventory management. This person reports directly to the Continuous Improvement Manager, works closely with the Procurement Department, and is a member of the company's Production team.Responsibilities:Carry out cycle counts in all zones in the timing required by procurement and production departmentsCarry out organization of all zones raw material stock in each zoneAssist in loading and unloading of all materialsAssuring paperwork is properly carried out and properly documented in ERP systemAssist production in any pole tracking and organization on production floorsAssist in continuous improvement projects pertaining to all zonesOther Responsibilities:Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near the plant, yard, or work siteReads work orders and follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be movedContinuously determines the material required for each production order and stages the materials in each Zone for the operator to maintain production process flowLoads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by crane, forklift or by handLoads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit, using hand toolsSecures lifting attachments to materials and conveys load to destination, using hand-operated crane or hoistAssembles crates to contain products using hand tools and precut lumberRestocks Zone bins, baskets, racks, pallets and cabinets within or near plantReceives materials into facility and confirms materials against invoices to verify accuracy of the delivery; assists in inventory managementRequirements:Experience in inventory managementExperience in shipping/receivingExperience in reading BOM's and BOL'sExperience in manufacturing production facilitiesGreat communication skillsMicrosoft office usePreferred Requirements:HILO experienceERP system useContinuous improvement project background*This position will train on 1st shift and move to 2nd shift once fully trained.
