Clearance Material HandlerThe Clearance Material Handler is responsible for maintaining warehouse stock and assisting in fulfilling orders. This role will be responsible for unloading product deliveries, staging products based on customer orders and assisting with organizing and maintaining existing inventory. The Clearance Material Handler will work closely with the Unloading Team to ensure all merchandise is unloaded safely and carefully to avoid injury and product damage.
All pieces must be placed on the unloading floor in the proper area for tagging.Job ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload delivery trucks, utilizing a hand truck as appropriate to make sure that each incoming delivery matches the company purchase orderOffload onto the receiving floor to proper staging areaMaintain a clean and safe work environmentMaintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; record location of inventoryLocate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production ordersPrepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing productOther duties as assignedRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentStrong organizational skills and strong attention to detailCurrent and valid OSHA forklift operation certificate or ability to obtain a forklift operation certificateMust be able to pass a lift assessment with a push pull requirement of 250 lbsAble to work a flexible schedule (including weekends, holidays and evenings)Preferred Qualifications1+ years of experience in a Warehouse environmentExpected Base Pay Not Including Potential Commissions, Incentive, Bonus, etc. Opportunities:Starting at $17.00 an hour!It is policy of Bob's Discount Furniture, Inc., to provide equal employment opportunity to all employees and applicants for employment.
