Material Feed/Material Handler Job Summary: An automotive company who is the largest producer of car parts in North America is looking for a material feed and material handler with experience in the plastic injection mold industry. This position involves working with resins, cleaning grinders, material handling, and managing materials.
Material Feed/Material Handler Responsibilities:
- Identify all resins and label according to weight, date, and material type
- Assure that all material lines are hooked up and feeding properly
- Properly loads all material
- Assist in dew point readings and in grinding parts
- Clean grinders and set up on the presses that are running
- Assure that material dryers are at the proper temperature and the hoses are properly secured
- Perform various housekeeping duties as required
- Maintain all the equipment associated with the material feed system
- Set up presses after mold changes
- Perform other tasks assigned by designated supervisor
- 2nd shift 2:00pm-10:00pm with extra hours and weekends
- $17.00/HR
- High School education or equivalent preferred
- The ability to meet the specifications listed below must be demonstrated on the job
- Ability to obtain a hi-lo license and operate a hi-lo safely
- Must possess good organizational skills
- Thorough understanding of the material feed system
- General understanding of the injection molding process
