Material Handler / Material Control SpecialistAs a shipping and receiving specialist, you will be a key player in our Shipping/Receiving department in a heavy industrial facility. Your primary tasks will include receiving all metal and related parts for assembly, performing cycle counts, and staging product through production. Occasionally, you will operate a sit-down forklift, but the majority of your day will involve being on your feet, lifting and loading up to 50 pounds, and handling materials. Inventory control and computer skills are preferred.Overview:Location: Jacksonville, FL (northside)Shift Options:6:00am-2:30pm (M-F)9:00am-6:00pm (M-F)3:00pm-11:30pm (M-F)9:00pm-5:30am (M-F)Pay: $17-$21/hr (based on experience and shift)Manufacturing facility (non-climate controlled)Shipping/receiving of metal parts, tools, and electrical componentsCycle counts, inventory control, and staging materials for productionQualifications:Manufacturing or warehouse experience is requiredSit-down forklift experience is required.Ability to lift 50 pounds.Experience using ERP systems is a plus.Experience performing cycle counts and inventory controlAbility to use computers and handheld scannersExperience working within a manufacturing setting is preferred.Benefits:This is a contract-to-hire position (90 days) with benefits offered while on contract.
