By joining our network, you position yourself for opportunities aligned with your career goals.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain the master production schedule, considering capacity, material availability, and customer demand.Collaborate with sales, production, and procurement to ensure alignment of the production plan with business objectives.Monitor inventory levels and adjust production schedules to optimize inventory turns and minimize stockouts.Analyze production performance and identify opportunities for schedule improvements and efficiency gains.Manage and communicate changes to the production schedule, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and prepared.Utilize ERP/MRP systems to generate, update, and manage production orders and material requirements.Identify and mitigate potential scheduling conflicts and material shortages to maintain production flow.Recommended QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in production planning, master scheduling, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to optimize production schedules and manage capacity constraints.In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and supply chain dynamics.APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.Bonus QualificationsAdditional certifications or trainingJob Titles That Should ApplyProduction Scheduler, Senior Production Planner, Master Production Scheduler, Supply Chain Planner, Inventory Control Manager, Materials Scheduler, Demand Planner, Operations Planner, Logistics Coordinator, Supply Chain AnalystWhy The Pivot Group NetworkThe Pivot Group Network was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
