By connecting with The Pivot Group Network, you position yourself for roles that match your background and aspirations.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain the master production schedule (MPS) for all products.Collaborate with sales, production, and supply chain to align MPS with forecasts and capacity.Monitor inventory levels and adjust the MPS to optimize stock and minimize obsolescence.Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and material shortages to ensure on-time delivery.Utilize ERP/MRP systems to generate and analyze production plans and schedules.Lead weekly scheduling meetings to review performance and adjust plans as needed.Implement and maintain scheduling best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.Recommended QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.5+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or master scheduling within a manufacturing environment.Proven expertise in using ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for scheduling and capacity planning.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, lead times, and capacity constraints.APICS CSCP or CPIM certification preferred.Bonus QualificationsAdditional certifications or trainingJob Titles That Should ApplyProduction Planner, Demand Planner, Supply Chain Planner, Inventory Planner, Materials Scheduler, Operations Planner, Logistics Coordinator, Production Scheduler, Supply Chain Analyst, Forecasting AnalystWhy The Pivot Group NetworkThe Pivot Group Network was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
