We are seeking a Master Mechanic to serve as a master technician in a dealership service department. This role will regularly handle complex and specialized repairs while delivering accurate diagnostics, dependable vehicle service, and high-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle diagnostics and use diagnostic scan tools to identify complex issues.
- Repair and service engines, brake systems, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
- Coordinate parts requirements for vehicle repairs and service.
- Document diagnostic findings, repairs, and completed service work.
- Mentor technicians and support technical problem-solving.
- Maintain compliance with applicable safety practices and service standards.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in automotive repair.
- ASE Master Automobile Technician certification.
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics and Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) standards.
- Proficiency in engine repair, brake systems, and transmission systems.
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Experience using diagnostic scan tools.
- Understanding of safety compliance requirements.
- Strong technical communication skills.
