Will work very closely with the management team to provide insight on overall shop operations.ResponsibilitiesUtilize advanced diagnostic computer equipment/software in the analysis, diagnosis, repair of gasoline and diesel engines and their related subsystems/components.Keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins.Update supervisor and computer systems on work performed.Follow procedures related to obtaining parts for jobs assigned.Assure warranty procedures are followed.Participate and complete Manufacturing training to obtain certifications.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to work on trucks, climbing into and out of, crawling under to make repairs.Ability to work safely and promote safety in the workplace.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals and electronic repair and troubleshooting manuals.Ability to use PC to update work order status and explain maintenance and repairs.Ability to explain verbally and written form the status of work orders.Ability to keep management aware of any concerns in the shop.Must be dependable.Requirements:Strong mechanical and electrical experience.Strong diagnostic ability and familiarity with OEM software.7+ years of experience working on gas/diesel equipment.Refrigeration unit experience a plus.CDL B, or willingness to obtain it in 120 days.ASE Certifications, preferred.
