To support a growing surgical program, the per diem Massachusetts Licensed Pre-Admission Testing Nurse will conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments, coordinate medical clearances, and educate patients on procedural expectations in a fully remote environment. Key responsibilities Conducts thorough nursing assessments and reviews medical histories for patients scheduled for surgery Coordinates necessary medical clearances and follows up on laboratory tests during the perioperative period Provides patient education regarding anesthesia, procedural expectations, and hospital arrival instructions Required qualifications Registered Nurse licensed in Massachusetts; BSN preferred 3-5 years of experience in surgical services Current CPR certification Proficient in MS Word and Excel Epic experience preferred
