To support a busy Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program, the part-time Massachusetts Licensed Intake Counselor will conduct comprehensive assessments, coordinate patient care, and facilitate scheduling in a fully remote environment without managing a caseload. Key responsibilities Conduct comprehensive Bio-Psychosocial Assessments (BPSAs) for new admissions, readmissions, and existing patients requiring reassessment Gather and document clinical, psychosocial, medical, and treatment history information to assess patient needs and determine appropriate care levels Coordinate patient placement and follow-up appointments while collaborating with counseling, medical, and administrative teams for a seamless intake process Required qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field preferred Active Massachusetts licensure as LMHC, LCSW, LICSW, LADC, or CADC is required Experience conducting assessments in substance use disorder, behavioral health, or MAT settings preferred Strong clinical interviewing and documentation skills Proficiency with electronic health records and virtual communication platforms
