Seeking a Massachusetts Licensed Hospice Veterinarian, the part-time position will provide in-home hospice, palliative care, and compassionate euthanasia services to pet families across Cambridge, Brookline, Quincy, and Boston, allowing for professional autonomy and meaningful client relationships without the constraints of a traditional clinic environment. Key responsibilities Provide in-home pet hospice, palliative care, quality-of-life support, and euthanasia services Travel independently to scheduled appointments, practicing in a mobile veterinary care environment Educate pet families on end-of-life care options and maintain accurate veterinary medical records Required qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD), BVMS, or equivalent degree from an accredited program Active veterinary license in Massachusetts or eligibility to obtain one Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to travel between appointments Experience in handling sensitive conversations regarding pet hospice and end-of-life care Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted and assist with weights up to 100 pounds
