Seeking compassionate individuals, the part-time Massachusetts Crisis Line Associate will provide emotional support and crisis intervention by answering calls from individuals in distress during overnight shifts from Monday to Wednesday, 11 PM to 5 AM ET, in a remote capacity for Massachusetts residents only. Key responsibilities Answer incoming crisis and emotional support calls, providing compassionate listening and support Assess caller needs and adhere to established crisis intervention protocols Document call interactions accurately and maintain confidentiality and professionalism Required qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or GED required Must be a resident of Massachusetts Ability to remain calm and compassionate during difficult conversations Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn multiple software platforms
