We’re looking for a Part-Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about reaching individuals who need mental healthcare but lack easy access to it. This role offers the flexibility and rewards of private practice—without the administrative burden. This is a contract position
What you'll do
- Treat patients in your state(s) of licensure
- Conduct initial Psychiatric Diagnosis Interview Examinations (PDE) for new patient referrals and Evaluation & Management (E/M) sessions for established patients
- Use the Talkspace platform to conduct video call sessions with patients, submit clinical documentation, and manage patient treatment plans
- Coordinate with the Talkspace psychiatry team as needed
- Seamlessly conduct video call sessions, manage cases, create treatment plans, and submit clinical documentation for each patient
- Eliminate overhead common to private practice by removing insurance barriers, marketing budgets, and other expenses
- Practice from the comfort and safety of your home on your own schedule
- Maintain secure, HIPAA-compliant communications and data handling
About you
- You cannot live in the state of Vermont or Massachusetts due to MA/VT state regulations restricting 1099 work
- You must have an active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in Massachusetts and 2+ years prescribing experience
- Active DEA and individual NPI number
- Submission of a fully completed, signed CAQH application
- Reliable internet connection
- Independent liability insurance; minimum coverage amount required is $1 million occurrence/$3 million aggregate
