To enhance the Medicaid Compliance Program, the full-time Maryland Licensed Medicaid Compliance Consultant will advise regional staff on Medicaid requirements, develop compliance procedures, monitor performance metrics, and conduct training and risk assessments while working remotely. Key responsibilities Develop compliance reports and conduct investigations, summarizing data and identifying potential risks Coordinate the implementation of compliance efforts, assessing current compliance states and creating necessary policies and training Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and support strategic compliance initiatives Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Clinical, Law, Public Health, Business, or a related field Minimum of six years of experience in compliance, health care operations, audit, finance, or related fields Experience in health plan compliance and operations preferred Project management experience and ability to work cross-functionally across departments Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or equivalent compliance certification is a plus
