To support a nationally distributed, primarily remote workforce, the full-time salaried Maryland Licensed IT Operations Manager will manage IT operations, including vendor management, security compliance, and hands-on technical support in a DOT-regulated, HIPAA-sensitive environment. Key responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related matters and develop IT policies and procedures Perform hands-on installation and maintenance of hardware and manage software assets, including licenses and compliance Conduct regular security audits and ensure data protection compliance with federal and state laws Required qualifications: Associate or bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 3+ years of hands-on IT experience with demonstrated practical competence; prior supervisory experience preferred Proficient in Microsoft 365 administration and Windows operating environments Working knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and HIPAA data handling obligations Knowledge of AI, machine learning, and automation platforms, with the ability to translate emerging technologies into operational efficiencies
