To optimize revenue enhancement, the full-time Maryland Licensed Coder will coordinate daily billing activities and collaborate with the Professional Billing Office, physicians, and third-party payers, working remotely with quarterly onsite meetings. Key Responsibilities Coordinates and monitors daily revenue cycle activities to optimize reimbursement opportunities Verifies benefit coverage to determine patient financial liability and investigates patient billing issues Performs coding functions, including charge entry and ensuring accuracy of code linkage diagnosis to procedure Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred 3-5 years of relevant experience CCS-P or CPC certification required
