To support the FDA Center for Devices and Radiological Health, the part-time Maryland Licensed Breast Imaging Radiologist will provide expert consulting services, focusing on medical device reviews, coordinating stakeholder meetings, and developing written documentation in a fully remote capacity. Key responsibilities Provide expert consultation related to medical device reviews and regulatory responsibilities Coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders and participate in discussions regarding medical device applications Conduct research, perform data analysis, and write detailed documents and reports for CDRH projects Required qualifications Doctor of Medicine (M.D. or equivalent) from an accredited medical school in the U.S Current, active, full, and unrestricted medical license to practice in the U.S At least seven years of relevant clinical experience in breast imaging Fellowship or equivalent training in breast imaging and certification from a relevant U.S. specialty board organization Thorough understanding of clinical practices in radiology and proficiency in all aspects of breast imaging
