Marketing SpecialistWe're looking for a Marketing Specialist to lead newsletter production, create compelling digital content, and support broader communications projects in partnership with internal stakeholders. This role suits someone with sharp writing and editing abilities, a keen eye for detail, and a track record of delivering polished marketing materials in a fast-moving setting.Key responsibilities include:Partner with leadership and internal subject matter experts to develop presentation scripts and key talking pointsManage the end-to-end newsletter process, from gathering content to writing, editing, and final publicationDraft and edit 1-2 news pieces each week, incorporating relevant research summariesResearch member activity for potential article features and route findings to appropriate section leadsEdit and refine contributions from staff and members to ensure consistency with AP style and brand voicePerform online research to strengthen the accuracy and credibility of published contentProvide additional content support across other communications projects as neededQualifications include:4+ years of experience in marketing or communications, with a strong emphasis on content creation such as newslettersSolid working knowledge of Microsoft Office and standard marketing toolsExcellent writing and editing skills with a strong eye for detailDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentPositive, team-oriented mindset with strong prioritization skillsBachelor's degree preferred, relevant experience can compensateThis is a contract role lasting approximately 3-5 months, based in Washington, DC with a hybrid schedule requiring four days on site per week.Perks include:Bright, modern office space equipped with up-to-date technologyEasily accessible location within walking distance of the metroOpportunity to work on engaging projects alongside a dedicated, mission-focused teamAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
