You understand how technical professional services firms win work — through relationships, reputation, and consistent visibility in the right places. You can write compellingly about complex engineering topics, navigate a room full of owners and facility managers, and build the systems that turn client relationships into long-term partnerships. You will operate with significant autonomy, work directly with the ownership group, and mentor junior marketing staff.
This role is a fit for someone who has worked in AEC or technical professional services and knows the rhythms of the industry: the proposal cycle, the trade show circuit, the client entertainment, and the long relationship-building arcs that precede major project awards.Core ResponsibilitiesMarket Awareness & ContentLead MNA's social media strategy and execution — LinkedIn, YouTube, etc. — with data-driven content planning and regular performance reporting to leadershipOwn proposal and qualification package production end-to-end: strategy, writing, design, and on-time deliveryDevelop and produce video content — project spotlights, facility tours, leadership interviews — for external channelsWrite and place journal articles, conference abstracts, and project case studies that reinforce MNA's technical reputationPlan and manage MNA's annual professional engagement calendar: trade shows, industry forums, career fairs, and sponsored eventsClient & Business DevelopmentDevelop and manage structured client follow-up programs — multi-level touchpoints coordinated across project managers, principals, and ownershipConduct ongoing client and market analysis: identify shifts in MNA's target sectors and surface emerging opportunities before competitors doSupport ownership in preparing for client meetings, executive briefings, and pursuit strategy sessionsManage CRM data integrity and produce regular pipeline and activity reports for the ownership groupCoordinate proactive outreach to prospect clients — research, introductory materials, and first-contact supportBrand, Collateral & TeamMaintain and continuously improve MNA's marketing asset library: project photography, descriptions, staff bios, and templatesEnforce brand consistency across all outputs; own the Adobe InDesign production workflowMentor and provide day-to-day direction to the Marketing CoordinatorIdentify gaps in MNA's marketing infrastructure and recommend process or tool improvementsWhat We're Looking ForIndustry experience carries the most weight for this role.
