About the RoleWe are looking for a highly organized, data-driven, and execution-focused Marketing Specialist to join our Austin team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at turning marketing strategies into action, managing multiple initiatives simultaneously, and using analytics to drive continuous improvement.A key responsibility will be planning, coordinating, and executing recurring customer-facing events, including our flagship Gem Fest events held approximately every other month. The successful candidate will combine strong project management skills with a passion for creating exceptional customer experiences and delivering measurable business results.Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing ExecutionExecute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, retail, and event channels.Coordinate campaign timelines, assets, approvals, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure flawless execution.Support the creation and deployment of promotional materials, customer communications, and marketing collateral.Manage marketing calendars and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.Event Planning & ManagementLead the planning and execution of recurring Gem Fest events and other local marketing initiatives.Coordinate with vendors, venues, merchandising, operations, and creative teams to deliver exceptional event experiences.Manage event logistics, timelines, budgets, and on-site execution.Develop post-event reports, capturing performance metrics, customer insights, and recommendations for improvement.Analytics & Performance OptimizationMonitor and analyze marketing campaign performance across channels.Track key metrics including customer acquisition, engagement, conversion, event attendance, and ROI.Build dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights to marketing leadership.Identify opportunities to optimize campaigns and improve marketing effectiveness through data-driven decision-making.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with merchandising, creative, digital, customer experience, and operations teams to ensure alignment and execution excellence.Support new marketing initiatives and pilot programs through structured project management and reporting.QualificationsRequired3–5 years of experience in marketing, campaign execution, event marketing, or related roles.Strong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.Experience coordinating events, trade shows, customer engagement programs, or promotional campaigns.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actions.Proficiency with Excel, marketing analytics platforms, and reporting tools.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.PreferredExperience with CRM, email marketing, and marketing automation platforms.Familiarity with Google Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.Experience in retail, e-commerce, consumer products, luxury goods, jewelry, or lifestyle brands.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.What Success Looks LikeSeamless execution of marketing campaigns and customer events.Successful delivery of Gem Fest events that drive attendance, engagement, and revenue.Consistent use of analytics to improve marketing performance and customer outcomes.Strong collaboration across teams and proactive ownership of key initiatives.A reputation for reliability, attention to detail, and getting things done.Ideal Candidate ProfileYou are equal parts operator and analyst—someone who loves bringing ideas to life, thrives in a highly collaborative environment, and uses data to make smarter decisions.
