Marketing Insights ManagerThe Marketing Insights Manager is responsible for generating data-driven marketing strategies and initiatives for the client. This position will develop relationships with Marketing teams and conduct needs assessments pertaining to marketing analytics and customer insights. This position will serve as a strategic advisor to the Marketing leadership team and business leaders to facilitate a data-driven customer-centric culture and influence marketing decisions.Primary ResponsibilitiesManages the design and delivery of complex analyses of marketing effectiveness and performanceLeads and influences strategic marketing decisions related to customer needs, preferences, behaviors, and segmentation, as well as advertising and direct and digital marketingTakes responsibility for designing tests with an attention to detail and measuring results in a timely and accurate mannerTranslates complex insights into simple and actionable recommendations and presents to varying audiences including executives, senior managers, and associatesLeads the prioritization of analytics initiatives in close collaboration with business partners and agencies using value of information, strategic relevance, and return on investment (ROI) perspectivesDevelops creative approaches and methodologies to answer critical business questions, evaluates new products and services opportunities, and assesses market potentialEvaluates opportunities to improve customer experience, profitability, targeting, efficacy, product/offer appeal, channel preference, bundling, customer loyalty, and more across all digital and non-digital channelsPartners with Enterprise Analytics team to prioritize modeling needs for improving Marketing effectivenessManages a team of internal and external resources, ensuring coaching and development needs are addressedThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.This position is incentive eligible.RequirementsMaster’s degree in Business, Operations Research, or other quantitative disciplines and seven (7) years of experience in data analytics or a related fieldOr Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Research, or other quantitative disciplines and nine (9) years of experience in data analytics or a related fieldPreferencesThree (3) years of experience in Banking or Financial ServicesExperience in managing offshore analytics vendors, analytics consultantancies, and agenciesAdvanced knowledge of business intelligence software (e.g.
Tableau, Power BI)Skills and CompetenciesAbility to assume project-oriented work requiring the combination of synthesizing information and presenting findings that aid in managerial decision making.Ability to forge close relationships with business partners across various functions.Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment.Confidence and poise in interacting with senior executives.Demonstrated data-driven business and strategic judgement to inform Marketing decisionsDemonstrated leadership capabilities and ability to supervise and manage a high-performance team.Experience in managing marketing analytics vendor and partner relationships.In-depth knowledge of statistical tools (e.g., SAS, SPSS) and techniques (logistic regression, artificial intelligence and machine learning, time series analysis, factor analysis, cluster analysis, etc.) used for modeling, segmentation, and in-depth data analysis.Strong work ethic and self-motivation.Superb verbal and written communication skills.Superior cognitive skills, ability to simplify complex situations, apply sound reasoning, and make prudent judgements.
