Marketing Associate

Location: Based in Overland Park, KS. Four days onsite and one day optional remote.

Compensation: $70K - $80K + Bonus Eligibility

About the Opportunity

LHH Recruitment is seeking a Marketing Associate to join a financial services organization based in Overland Park. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career marketing professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats and contributing across a variety of marketing initiatives, who is seeking a role to grow within the marketing space.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of marketing experience and a strong foundation in generalist marketing functions, including content creation, digital marketing, social media, campaign support, and marketing communications. Additionally, this individual must have exposure to video production and editing and be comfortable creating engaging visual content for digital channels.

Candidates must demonstrate previous experience supporting a financial services organization , either through direct employment, an internship, or agency experience working with financial services clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, and traditional channels.
• Assist with content creation, including blogs, presentations, marketing collateral, website content, and thought leadership materials.
• Create, edit, and repurpose video content for social media, websites, webinars, and marketing campaigns.
• Coordinate video shoots, manage production logistics, and assist with post-production editing.
• Manage and maintain social media content calendars and publishing schedules.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate financial concepts into engaging and easy-to-understand marketing content.
• Assist with website updates, email marketing initiatives, and digital advertising efforts.
• Track campaign performance and provide reporting on key engagement metrics.
• Support webinars, events, sponsorships, and client-facing marketing initiatives.
• Ensure marketing materials meet brand, compliance, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate projects with internal teams and external vendors to ensure deadlines are met.

Qualifications

Required

• 1-3 years of professional marketing experience.
• Experience supporting a financial services organization , whether directly with a bank, investment firm, wealth management firm, insurance company, fintech company, or other financial institution; through an internship within financial services; or at an agency supporting financial services clients.
• Exposure to video production and video editing.
• Experience with social media management, content marketing, and/or digital marketing initiatives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organization and project management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, or a related field.
• Experience using video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canva, or similar platforms.
• Experience with marketing automation, CRM, or email marketing platforms.
• Familiarity with compliance-driven environments and regulated industries.
