Market Risk Manager

Risk ManagerAll Options is looking for a Risk Manager to join our team in Austin, TX. You will be at the center of how we manage risk as a market maker in equity derivatives, with real responsibility from day one.Day-to-day, you'll monitor risk live on our trading floor and work closely with trading teams: stress-testing assumptions, evaluating risk-reward tradeoffs, optimizing capital allocation, and supporting deployment of new quantitative and algorithmic strategies.You'll also drive strategic initiatives: strengthening our limits framework, improving risk processes, and ensuring regulatory and clearing requirements are met. This is a high-impact role where your decisions directly shape both our risk profile and our ability to capture trading opportunities.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily market risk management of our equity derivatives business, engaging directly with traders, clearing banks, trading venuesMonitor and investigate risk concentrations, clearing bank requirements, operational incidents, unusual trades and market moves, linking insights to current exposuresOperate and improve our market and operational risk frameworks, with a strong focus on automated trading strategies and effective incident follow-upDesign, improve, and operate our market risk frameworks and automated monitoring tools in PythonAssess and sign off on new trading strategies and algorithmsFurther develop the risk-control framework, including policies, with a strong focus on trading and technologyProvide input to optimize capital and liquidity allocation and usage of trading strategiesKey Requirements:3 – 5 years of experience working in an equity derivatives trading firmBachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as STEM, Statistics, Economics, or FinanceHands-on understanding of equity and derivatives tradingClear understanding of risk factors that affect a market maker company trading a large equity derivatives portfolioExcellent numerical and analytical skillsAbility to write code in PythonAble to both design and implement aspects of risk management frameworksIndependent thinker, with convincing communication skillsResults-oriented with attention to detail and focus on quality of workMindset geared towards continuous improvement and innovationCollaborative team player, able to contribute in fast-paced trading environmentWhy Join All Options?At All Options we offer a dynamic collaborative environment where ambition is rewarded and growth is real.
