Market Research AnalystLocation: Cincinnati, OH, 45202Duration: 6 Months (Potential Extension)Pay Rate: $30/Hr. on W2Shift Timing: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMNote:This is a Hybrid RolePossibly 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.Job DescriptionAs a contractor supporting company IT Innovation Group, you will focus on conducting technology landscape assessments, startup mapping, and technology due diligence to identify and evaluate innovative companies and emerging technologies for potential partnerships.You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support the innovation pipeline by researching market trends, assessing opportunities and risks, and providing data-driven recommendations.Key Responsibilities Include:Conducting market research, technology landscape assessments, and startup mapping activities.Performing technical due diligence and risk assessments on startups and emerging technologies.Monitoring industry trends, market developments, and key technology players.Collecting, analysing, and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data.Preparing reports, presentations, and executive summaries to support decision-making.Identifying innovation opportunities and strategic recommendations.Collaborating with stakeholders to support research and innovation initiatives.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.Strong understanding of technology trends, startup ecosystems, and market dynamics.Experience conducting market research, competitive intelligence, technology scouting, or business analysis.Ability to perform technology due diligence across a broad range of technology domains.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and research methodologies.Preferred QualificationsExperience evaluating startups, emerging technologies, or innovation ecosystems.Knowledge of AI, Cloud Computing, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, Digital Transformation, or related technology domains.Experience with statistical analysis tools, market intelligence platforms, or research databases.Programming experience with Python, R, SQL, or other data analysis tools.Experience creating executive-level reports, presentations, and strategic recommendations.Experience working with innovation, venture capital, corporate strategy, or technology partnership teams.
