At Equity Bank we'll help you invest in your community through volunteer opportunities which align with our company initiatives and core values.Responsibilities and ExpectationsEffectively manage the assigned market:Commercial bank staffing and recruitingBoost moraleMaintain focus on commercial banking target marketExcellent public relations and community imageServe on appropriate civic and business committees/boards in the communityAchieve profitability for the Market at desirous levelsLead, manage and drive sales activities of the Bank in the market:Achieve loan growth goals per annual budget and five year plan both individually and as a teamCreate strong sales cultureTrack performance and coach as neededSchedule and make customer and prospect calls both direct and with other team membersBuild prospect listsRegularly scheduled sales meetingsMaintain good credit quality at the market level:<1% past 30 days at each quarter end<15% technical exceptions each quarter endAccurate risk code ratingsDrive deposit growth:Work with loan officers and branches to achieve goal, particularly on non-interest bearing depositsWork with Treasury Management group to achieve fee income goalsStrong and proactive participation in the Company's Executive Management Team:Attend EVP meetings and complete assigned tasksVoting member of Bank's Directors Loan CommitteeParticipation on other appropriate Bank committeesRegular and reliable attendance.Perform other duties as assigned or required.Required Skills & EducationBachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related major10+ years of banking, with emphasis on lending5 or more years managing teams, including all aspects of a bank locationExcellent credit analysis skillsExcellent interpersonal skills and professional mannerComputer skills, especially the ability to work in Windows based systemsWhat's in it for you?Equity Bank, a full-service, $5 billion community bank, is based in Wichita, Kansas, with 70 bank offices throughout Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.
