The Market Business Director provides hands-on operational leadership across multiple branch locations, overseeing day-to-day business operations, compliance supervision, financial advisor support, advisor onboarding, and employee management.
A particularly important aspect of the role is leading, coaching and developing support professionals, while building trusted relationships with financial advisors and helping ensure their teams operate effectively.
Location: Washington, DC / Bethesda, MD (Hybrid, 3 days in office, 2 remote)
Reports to: Head of Market Operations
Compensation: $150K–$165K base plus 10%–20% annual bonus opportunity plus Equity

Background & Licensing
- Active Series 7 and Series 9/10 (or potentially Series 24 equivalent, subject to confirmation)
- Series 66 (or 63 and 65) preferred
- Life & Health Insurance license a plus
- 10+ years of wealth management experience, ideally within a broker-dealer, RIA or wirehouse
- Strong background in branch operations, compliance supervision and financial advisor support
- Experience managing, coaching and developing support professionals
- Advisor onboarding and transition experience preferred
- Comfortable working three days per week in DC/Bethesda, with occasional travel to other Mid-Atlantic branches
