System One is seeking a Maritime Systems Engineer for a full-time opportunity in Orlando, FL.

Responsibilities

• n

  Support maritime systems that replicate bridge systems of ships and boats, including communications, navigation, radar, and steering subsystems

  n

• n

  Research, analyze, plan, design, develop, code, implement, integrate, and test associated systems using engineering principles

  n
n
• n

  Review and prepare engineering reports, technical analysis, design reviews, and documentation

  n
n
• n

  Perform simulation code development, systems integration, design, configuration management, quality assurance testing, and resource management

  n
n
• n

  Develop engineering procedures, controls, and participate in problem resolution within engineering projects

  n
n
• n

  Interface with engineers, system and program contractors, vendors, and Government representatives on technical aspects

  n
n
• n

  Communicate ongoing activities and results to engineers, customers, stakeholders, and management

  n
n

Requirements

n
• n

  3+ years' experience developing code on Linux and Windows systems with proficiency in C/C++ or C#

  n
n
• n

  Proficiency in scripting environments such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell

  n
n
• n

  Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN

  n
n
• n

  Strong technical understanding with at least one area of specialization

  n
n
• n

  Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers

  n
n
• n

  Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-oriented environment to meet deadlines

  n
n
• n

  Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Teams/SharePoint)

  n
n
• n

  Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or equivalent experience with three years' related experience in aircraft, flight, or maritime simulation systems

  n

• n

  Must be a United States Citizen and able to obtain and maintain an active Department of Defense security clearance

  n
n
