Job Title : Marine Electrician 1 st Class

Pay Range: $2 3.25 - $ 29 .00

Location: Mobile, AL

Job Description:

• The electrician installs, maintains, and repairs electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment aboard vessels and within shipyard facilities, working from blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Core duties include :
  • M ounting conduit
  • P ulling and threading wires
  • S oldering terminals
  • I nstalling components such as circuit breakers, voltage regulators, and switch panels.
• The role also involves c onnecting power circuits to navigation, communication, and electronic systems, as well as testing voltage, resistance, and phase characteristics using standard electrical meters. Some electricians may additionally construct and install instrument panels according to specifications

Requirements:

• Shipyard experience is a must
• 5+ years of experience is required
