Job Summary
We’re looking for a skilled Marine Carpenter to join our crew building and repairing docks, decks, boathouses, roofs, and other waterfront structures. The ideal candidate is hard-working and dedicated to producing quality work. If you are an experienced Carpenter with a positive attitude, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Follow all safety rules and regulations
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Use blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine construction requirements and materials needed
Construct and repair docks, decks, boathouses, and marine structures
Read plans and work independently or as part of a team
Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Work in marine and outdoor environments
Qualifications
Experience in carpentry (marine experience preferred)
Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and measurements
Ability to read and take action on blueprints
Ability to safely operate hand and power carpentry tools
Knowledge of pressure-treated lumber, pilings, and marine hardware
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather
Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
