To support engineering projects, the full-time Marine AutoCAD Drafter will prepare technical drawings, maintain drawing records, and ensure compliance with federal standards while working onsite in Newport, OR, Gulfport, MS, or Newport, RI, with remote options available for highly qualified candidates. Key responsibilities Prepare, update, and modify detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD software based on engineering specifications and project requirements Review drawings for accuracy and compliance with project specifications and federal drafting standards Coordinate with engineers and project managers to interpret design concepts and provide drafting support during project meetings Required qualifications Experience in the marine industry with an understanding of typical ship drawings and documentation Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Proficiency in organizing technical documentation, both hard copy and electronic Experience with AutoCAD software for drafting and design Familiarity with government vessels is a plus
