Job Summary
The Manure Hauler is responsible for transporting manure from Kreider Farms to approved off-site locations in a timely and professional manner. Ideally the Manure Hauler will also assist in other farm operations/field work such as planting, harvesting, and spreading fertilizer. This position includes loading and unloading trucks, maintaining a clean and organized vehicle, assisting with farm operations, and supporting a team-focused work environment. Weekend availability is required.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule: 50-60 hours per week. More hours may be needed during harvest season.
The Manure Hauler is responsible for transporting manure from Kreider Farms to approved off-site locations in a timely and professional manner. Key Responsibilities
- Safely load (with a payloader) and unload manure trucks
- Transport manure from Kreider Farms to designated farms or field locations.
- Deliver materials to farmers and maintain good working relationships.
- Clean and maintain trucks to company standards.
- Promote teamwork and collaborate effectively with other farm personnel.
- Follow all safety protocols and report any hazards to a supervisor immediately.
- Support food safety and quality procedures by reporting concerns promptly.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor or designated staff.
- CDL Class A required, with good driving record and clean MVR.
- Prior farm experience preferred (field/crop work, harvesting, fertilizing etc.)
- Experience using a walking trailer and other farm equipment (wheel loaders, large farm tractors, and skid steers)
- Ability to follow directions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork orientation.
- Willingness to work weekends as needed.
