Manufacturing Test TechnicianWe are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Test Technician to support electrical product testing in a controlled lab environment. This role focuses on performing high-voltage testing (208V–690V), ensuring product quality, and troubleshooting issues using diagnostic tools. This is a hands-on, safety-focused position in a Lean manufacturing environment.
Training will begin on 1st shift, and the role is fully onsite. This is a contract opportunity with the potential to conclude earlier due to a scheduled facility closure, currently planned through the end of the year.ResponsibilitiesPerform visual inspections and electrical testing of products in accordance with standard operating proceduresOperate and set up test equipment, including:VariacHi-Pot / Ground Bond testersPower analyzersOscilloscopesCurrent clampsDigital multimetersTest products and accurately record results to confirm compliance with specificationsTroubleshoot failed tests using diagnostic tools and analytical methodsMaintain and update test reports and databases with accurate dataEnsure strict adherence to safety protocols in a restricted-access test environmentSupport continuous improvement in a Lean, one-piece flow production environmentDemonstrate a strong commitment to injury-free operationsRequired QualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience in electrical testing (208V–690V)Associate's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or a related fieldHands-on experience with electrical test equipment and measurement toolsStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracy in documentationAbility to work safely in a controlled lab environmentWillingness to train on 1st shiftPreferred QualificationsExperience in manufacturing or product testing environmentsKnowledge of Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practicesExperience working with high-mix electrical products
