Gas / Chemical TechnicianKelly Services is seeking a Gas / Chemical Technician to support high-volume manufacturing operations at the Samsung Semiconductor facility in Taylor, TX. This role is critical to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of gas and chemical distribution systems that support semiconductor production.Compensation & BenefitsStarting Pay: $20–$23/hr (depending on experience & shift)Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance – Eligible after 30 days120 Hours of PTO/Sick Pay10 Paid HolidaysCareer Growth Opportunities – We hire for potential!Compressed Work Week, Day ShiftShift A: Sun–Tues, every other WedShift B: Sun–Tues, every other SatShift C: Thurs–Sat, every other WedShift D: Wed–Fri, every other SatYou’ll work holidays if your shift is scheduledKey ResponsibilitiesWear full body PPE including respirator – indoors and outdoors – while performing job duties (will be in and out of suit constantly)Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot gas bulk delivery systems in a dynamic manufacturing environmentEnsure strict adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulationsPerform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipmentCollaborate closely with Samsung personnel and other contingent workforce team membersWork outdoors in a physically active role requiring attention to detail and situational awareness Safely handle and change out chemical and slurry containersMonitor and operate systems using HMI/PLC interfaces (preferred)Maintain accurate records and follow all safety protocolsWalk 3–5 miles per day throughout the facilityClimb ladders (up to 12 ft) using fall protectionLift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.; bend, reach, and perform physical tasks as neededQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredExperience with gas or chemical systems preferred but not requiredFamiliarity with UHP systems, HMI/PLC, or gas-related equipment is a plusOSHA 30 and CPR/First Aid Certification (preferred)Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety
