Strivector's premier client (a well-known market leader in their space) is hiring for the following full-time direct hire position.Position OverviewAs a Manufacturing Technician, your roles and responsibilities will include:Responsible for set-up and maintenance of all electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems on equipment used in the production processWorks directly with the Engineering Group to monitor and improve processes for output and waste levelsResponsible for providing leadership and ownership of process performance issuesReports directly to Production Maintenance and indirectly to ProductionProvide support to set-up and maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on production equipment. Responsible for the maintenance of all electrical systems used on production equipmentResponsible for preventive maintenance on designated production equipment as specified in the PM Program or as required to ensure a smooth operationAssists Engineering with the installation, debugging, and start-up of all production equipmentMaintains equipment logs on assigned equipment, recording pertinent information about downtime and maintenance problems, documents all process changesResponsible for mixing silicone/solvent based formulation which is used for the lubrication of needles, uses viscometer to ensure solids percentage remains within acceptable parametersSupports Engineering in maintaining and adjusting vision systems within defined parametersProvide leadership to ensure all safety and environmental procedures and Quality System Requirements (QSR) are maintainedProvides Production Supervisors with relevant information on equipment and process performance, to include production and waste information.QualificationsMost importantly, you need to be a passionate Manufacturing Technician who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization.

The ideal Manufacturing Technician would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:High School Diploma/GED AND a minimum of 4 years of related experience in an Industrial/Manufacturing environment OR equivalent experience and educationAS with a Major in Industrial Electronics or similar field (strongly preferred)Able to interpret and comprehend basic Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's) ladder logicAble to trouble shoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's)PLC Allen Bradley proficiency desiredPossess proficient skills in electrical industrial systemsMotor/VFD trouble shooting experienceWe understand that even if you are a seasoned Manufacturing Technician you may not have all the skills listed here.
