Manufacturing TechnicianCome build your career with Volt – where your skills matter, your growth is our mission, and opportunity is just the beginning.Volt is immediately hiring Manufacturing Technician at Malabar, FLAs a Manufacturing Technician you will be responsible for:Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment.Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments.Assembles, aligns, and tests systems, components, and subassemblies following specified work instructions and procedures to ensure finished product meets established operational and cosmetic requirements.This is a 12 Month full-time Contract or Contract to hire opportunity.What We're Looking For:Soldering skills required: J-Standard and IPC 610 certifications requiredSoldering sample test required for the interviewAbility to use small hand toolsTorque tool experience required.Pay Range: $23-$25 per hour*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Benefits: Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
