The ideal candidate will have significant experience with mechanical systems, including welding, chain and roller systems, and the rebuilding of pumps, motors, and drives.Key Responsibilities:Perform welding and fabrication tasks to maintain manufacturing equipmentWork with chains, rollers, and drive systems to ensure proper functionalityReplace and rebuild motors, pumps, and drives as requiredTroubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on production equipmentTake initiative in identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiencyWilling to engage in continuous learning and hands-on work to stay ahead of technical advancementsMust-Have Qualifications:Proven experience in welding and mechanical systems repairFamiliarity with chains, rollers, and mechanical drive componentsExperience in rebuilding and replacing industrial motors, pumps, and drivesStrong initiative and drive to complete tasks with minimal supervisionA hands-on approach to learning and problem-solvingEducational Requirements:College degree or technical equivalentExperience Requirements:Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or mechanical roleAdditional Information:Temp-to-hire opportunityShift schedule with rotation between long and short weeks
