PCB also provides all full-time team members with 100% employer paid medical premiums for you and your family, a competitive PTO package and 10 company paid holidays.As a Manufacturing Technician with PCB Piezotronics, Inc., you will work in our crystals department and perform a variety of production tasks that require the ability to follow written/verbal instructions and a thorough knowledge of techniques, materials, tools and equipment.Additional duties include:Refers to drawings, routers, and procedures to perform various processes required to produce crystals.Performs in-process inspection and testing of crystals, records data as required.Learns and uses microscope, basic tools, fine hand tools, micrometers and various processing and test equipment.Responsible for simple set ups, operation, and cleaning of various equipment per procedure. May operate hot plates, ovens, furnaces, ultrasonic cleaners, laser etchers, chemical or vapor plating equipment, poling stations, precision test instrumentation, and other equipment as needed.Shows commitment to quality and total customer satisfaction through dedicating skills to achieve zero defect status and works with engineering to support continuous improvement projects.Provides information to department leadership and co-workers to positively affect quality and output.Follows established procedures with respect to workplace health, safety, and environmental requirements.Responsible for following company hazardous waste management procedures for hazardous wastes which are routinely generated through the manufacturing processes performed during normal duties.Maintains a clean and organized working area, and follows established department cleaning requirements.Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient operation of department and PCB.Minimum qualifications include:Education: High School Diploma or equivalentExperience: Experience handling small parts with tweezers and using a microscope.Preferred qualifications include:Basic computer skills, and good documentation and communication skills is beneficial.Additional benefits include:100% company paid medical insurance premiumsDental and vision insuranceCompany funded HSA or HRA accounts (with enrollment in applicable health insurance plan)Paid time offEmployer paid basic life insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance401k company matchTuition reimbursementDependent scholarship programCompany paid holidays, employee discounts, holiday gift certificatesPhysical demands include:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.This position requires access to "controlled technology" as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. §730 et. seq.) and "technical data" as defined in the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (22 C.F.R, Chapter 1, Subchapter M).
