Manufacturing Technician

Manufacturing TechnicianPay Range: $20hr - $25hrThe Manufacturing Technician is responsible for supporting the build and production of laser systems by assembling, testing, and inspecting optical, mechanical, and electrical subassemblies. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to established processes, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will contribute to continuous improvement efforts while ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.Responsibilities:Develop techniques and procedures for building laser systems.Assemble and test optical, mechanical, and electrical subassemblies.Perform optical bonding, cleaning, and inspection of laser units with high attention to detail.Build wiring harnesses, perform soldering, and complete PCB assembly of electrical and electro-optical subassemblies.Identify issues during the manufacturing process, resolve routine problems, and recommend yield improvements.Ensure specified quality standards are met for all completed tasks.Follow established manufacturing processes and work instructions.Maintain compliance with environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.Demonstrate ethical and professional behavior aligned with company values.Complete additional assignments as required.Requirement/Must Have:High School Diploma or equivalent.1–2 years of relevant experience.Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes.Ability to follow detailed instructions and established procedures.Strong attention to detail and quality focus.Basic soldering and assembly skills.Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.Willingness to work weekends and evenings as required.Should Have:3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.Experience working with optical, mechanical, or electrical assemblies.Familiarity with PCB assembly and wiring harness builds.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to recommend process improvements.
