Manufacturing TechnicianTitle: Manufacturing TechnicianLocation: Hayward, CA (Fully Onsite)Schedule: Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pmPay Range: $37-$46/h on W2Duration: 6+ months (Possible extension)Job DescriptionAs Manufacturing Technician, the technician will be part of a team responsible for the assembly and testing of our vehicles. They will support both the build, performing defined test plans, and subassemblies. Being comfortable with mechanical, electrical, and computer systems is a plus.
There will be repetitive use of hand, power, and diagnostic tools along with custom equipment used to improve safety, quality control, and time reductions. The technician needs to be flexible in working on different sites when necessary and willing to work cross-functionally with other teams/departments.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with leads and other technicians on vehicle builds in sub-assembly as well as the vehicle on the line.Light diagnostics/troubleshooting on vehicle issuesComplete daily tasks to ensure on time delivery and completion of projectPerform execution of vehicle testing involving both hardware and softwareProvide feedback to necessary team members to assist in future developmentWilling to be flexible and work with cross functional teams or departmentsWork with all environmental health and safety guidelinesIdentify areas of improvement within quality, efficiency, and safetyQualificationsBachelor's Degree with 4-6 years experience working as a technician or in manufacturing environmentExperience with basic hand and power toolsStrong analytical and problem solving skillsUnderstanding of basic electrical theoryFamiliar with electrical schematics and harness drawingsKnowledgeable with CAN/LIN network systemsAutomotive/OEM experience is a plus5s certifications a plus
