Manufacturing Technician - FSC

Job TitleIf you like building real products with your hands, following clear work instructions, and taking pride in safe, high-quality work, this role is for you. You'll assemble hydraulic products such as manifolds, small assemblies, and power units, partnering with Customer Service and Engineering to keep production moving and customers supported.You'll be part of a team that values integrity, collaboration, and accountability—and you'll contribute to a positive culture by being dependable, respectful, and improvement-minded.Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral shop responsibilities:Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environmentSupport 6S and lean manufacturing initiativesProvide feedback to supervisors on issues and improvement opportunitiesMove materials/assemblies using forklifts and overhead cranes (with training)Participate in cross-training and assist other departments as neededAssembly:Assemble hydraulic assemblies using technical drawings and schematicsInstall and connect fluid power componentsPerform repeatable tube bending and light fabricationOperate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and shop equipment (drill press, band saw, chop saw)Use adhesives, lubricants, solvents, epoxies, and related materials as requiredFollow detailed work instructions and accurately record labor activityTesting & Inspection:Conduct hydraulic pressure and leak tests to verify integrity and performanceClean and inspect components before and after assemblyIdentify, correct, and document non-conforming productDocument results and ensure compliance with quality standardsReturn unused parts and materials to inventoryCommunication:Communicate with team members, Engineering, and supervisors to resolve issuesRespond to routine emails/calls and complete work documentation as requiredRead, interpret, and follow special instructions, schematics, and test documentationEnsure job paperwork is complete and filed appropriatelyJoin FSC and become part of a team that builds real-world solutions that keep industries moving.
