Quality InspectorResponsible for ensuring quality parts are produced and/or assembled by conducting visual and touchpoint inspection of parts produced by a press, while meeting production rates or efficiency requirements.Essential Job Functions Include, But Not Limited To, The Following:Conduct routine visual and touchpoint part inspections according to a standard to ensure quality parts are produced.Function as a team member to identify and solve problems focusing on safety, quality and productivity issues.Maintain workplace organization (5S).Understand and ensure compliance for product labeling.Maintain safe working environment by adhering to all PPE requirements and safety policies.Communicate and inform the leader, group tech lead and co-workers of trends and potential problems.Attain and maintain a Powered Industrial Truck license if required.Additional functions not specifically outlined in this position description as directed by the leader.Trainer Designation:Pass the Trainer interview and Train the Trainer courseShow competence and be able to train to all manufacturing systems and philosophiesExplain all manufacturing systems and philosophies and the impact of the manufacturing associate within quality and within the business as a wholeAccurately evaluate and complete required assessment of traineeProvide clear and concise communications/feedback to the trainee and to members of leadershipProvide direction to the trainee with whom to contact for answers to questions, concerns, and ideasPosition Skills And Experience Requirements:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty effectively.
