You'll manage our production planning system—optimizing data accuracy, improving scheduling workflows, and driving continuous improvement. This role requires someone who can translate operational needs into system requirements, troubleshoot complex problems, and serve as the go-to expert for our production teams.What You'll DoManage the production planning system (PlantStar or similar MRP platform), ensuring data integrity and supporting schedulers and planners on daily operationsAnalyze production data, schedules, and system performance to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvementsBuild and maintain dashboards and reports (SQL, Excel, Power BI) to support decision-making across manufacturing, planning, and managementTroubleshoot MRP-related issues and collaborate with IT on system enhancements, testing, and upgradesDocument processes, drive process improvements, and act as a change agent to optimize workflows and system usageTrain and support schedulers and planners on system best practicesPartner with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality) to align system strategy with business goalsRequired Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree (Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Information Systems, or related field)3+ years in manufacturing systems, production planning, or analyst roleStrong experience with MRP/ERP systems in a manufacturing environmentProven experience with production scheduling and process optimizationData analysis and troubleshooting expertise; ability to write SQL queries against PostgreSQL or similar databasesStrong reporting and dashboarding skills (Excel, SQL, Power BI, or similar tools)Excellent communication and collaboration skillsProject management and process documentation experienceNice to HaveExperience with PlantStar, IQMS, or similar manufacturing planning softwareKnowledge of injection molding processes (we'll teach this if you're strong on MRP and scheduling)Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement (Six Sigma) backgroundTraining and mentoring abilitiesWhat We OfferCompetitive base salary with performance-based bonus potential4 weeks of PTO, plus holidays and employee recognition programsHealth, dental, and vision plans401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matchCollaborative, team-based culture that fuels innovationCommunity engagement and STEM outreach opportunitiesUS Conec will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
