This position is for an intermediate level technician with 2+ years of manufacturing experience. The candidate should have good written and verbal communication skills, a passion for working with computer hardware, and solid troubleshooting skills.Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:Perform hardware and software testing of Intel based electromechanical sub-assemblies and complete systemsSet up standard test equipment, and conduct functional, operational, and burn-in testsFollow process instructions and procedures for quality assuranceAnalyze hardware and software issues and troubleshootMaintain records of work performed and report the resultsLog Problem and Non-Conformance reports in Propel PLMMaintain the work area in a clean and neat mannerQualifications for this role are:High School Diploma (required)A+ Certification in computer repair (required)Experience with assembling and repairing computer hardwareProven skills in testing and quality assuranceAbility to work well under pressure to meet deadlines with a strong sense of urgencyAbility to follow directions and instructions preciselyAbility to communicate technical information effectivelyGood technical written skillsGood interpersonal skillsFamiliarity with Windows and Linux operating systems (Linux preferred)Fast learner with a keen aptitude for technologyManufacturing background preferred but not requiredAbility to work overtimeAbility to lift up to 50 lbs
