If you want to push the boundaries of materials science and engineering to create next generation technology, join us to deliver material innovation that changes the world.Job DescriptionGovern and perform internal Quality AuditsCheck for manufacturing compliance to internal standards such as specifications and policiesCollaborate with engineering and operation managers to address root causeLead or Facilitate 8Ds and Kaizen eventsWhen there are significant deviations from the standard, lead 8D investigation. An immediate need to contain the problem and implement corrective and preventative actions (CAPA), to resolve root cause.As needed, facilitate kaizens; geared at quality improvements through technicians, supervisors and engineers' collaboration.Perform quality stand downs with technicians as needed to convey and correct quality issuesMonitor for any repeats, keep track of results and report out to Executive ManagementCollaborate with Supplier representatives to minimize supplier caused Quality non-conformancesQuick engagement with Supplier Quality Engineers to manage responsiveness of suppliers to Mfg. issues with a focus on keeping manufacturing operational.Engagement on stock purges or containments in manufacturing while working with the Manufacturing Engineers to assess the product and prevent a line downFollow up with Supplier Quality Engineers and keep Manufacturing abreast of progressLead Quality continuous improvement projectsIdentify top quality projects based on impact to Quality variance and defect per system rateLead a small team to execute projects from planning through validation/closurePreferred QualificationsAmerican Society of Quality Certified Quality Engineer or Certified Quality AuditorFour-year engineering or science degree3+ years of quality engineering experienceSemiconductor experience- Candidates with DDP Product knowledge and manufacturing preferredAdditional InformationTime Type: Full timeEmployee Type: Assignee / RegularTravel: Yes, 10% of the TimeRelocation Eligible: NoThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
