Manufacturing Program ManagerThe Manufacturing Program Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering additive manufacturing programs from order intake through production completion. This role ensures production schedules are established, maintained, and achieved while serving as the primary interface between internal operations and external customers.The Program Manager owns the overall program plan including schedule, financial performance, and deliverables and ensures alignment with customer requirements, contractual commitments, and company objectives.This role supports operations at both the Fremont and Livermore, California facilities and requires regular travel between locations. Work schedules and primary work locations may vary based on business needs.ResponsibilitiesProgram Planning & ExecutionDevelop, implement, and maintain comprehensive Program Management Plans for additive manufacturing programsDefine program scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables in alignment with customer and internal requirementsEstablish and manage detailed production schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines and resource availabilityIdentify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful program deliveryProduction CoordinationCoordinate cross-functional activities across engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teamsMonitor progress of manufacturing builds and post-processing operations to ensure on-time deliveryDrive schedule recovery plans when needed to meet customer commitmentsCustomer & Stakeholder ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for customers regarding program status, deliverables, and performanceManage contractual commitments, technical requirements, and specification complianceLead customer communications including program reviews, gate reviews, and status reportingFinancial & Performance OwnershipOwn program financials, including budget tracking, cost performance, and forecastingEnsure program execution aligns with business objectives and profitability targetsTrack and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to schedule, cost, and qualityGovernance & ReportingEstablish program governance structures, including milestone reviews and decision gatesCommunicate program objectives, risks, and status clearly to internal leadership and stakeholdersMaintain program documentation, ensuring traceability and compliance with company processesServe as the operational liaison between:Applications EngineeringOperations & ManufacturingSupply Chain & VendorsQuality AssuranceFulfillment & LogisticsFinance & ContractsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related fieldMust be a US Citizen, as this position works on U.S government contracts5+ years of program or project management experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or high-tech environmentsExperience in additive manufacturing or advanced manufacturing processes strongly preferredProven ability to manage complex production schedules and customer-facing programsStrong understanding of contract management, production planning, and supply chain coordinationExcellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsProficiency with program management tools (e.g., MS Project, ERP/MRP systems)Mechanical/Industrial Engineering Background with strong preference of manufacturing experience$90,000 - $130,000 a year
